Village Of Sussex : Traffic Alert! Good Hope Road Closure

Good Hope Road will be closed both east and west of Waukesha Avenue beginning Wednesday, June 23, for road work associated with the Village’s 2021 Road Program that cannot be done safely under two-way traffic due to the railroad and due to the road width.

• Traffic will not be able to travel over the railroad tracks during this closure.
• North/south traffic on Waukesha Avenue/Field Drive will be open.

Good Hope Road will reopen late in the day on Monday, June 28. We coordinated this road closing with the railroad company to ensure that only one railroad crossing is closed at a time. The Main Street railroad crossing is closed June 14-June 21.
