Waukesha County 4-H Winners Announced
Find out who the Waukesha County 4-H and UW-Extension honored at their 2017 Youth Awards banquet!

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — The Waukesha County 4-H Organization and UW-Extension honored their youth recipients at the 2017 Youth Awards banquet on January 15th.
Waukesha County 4-H has over 600 members in grades Kindergarten through High School. The awards presented are based on youth leadership, community service, volunteer hours, project achievement, county fair and state fair participation.
The Achievement Medal went to Ruth Farrell & Jeremy Norem. The Citizenship Medal: Brody Jones & Jessie Steckling, and the Leadership Medal: Katie Bugenhagen, Emily Czaplewski, Brianna Jones, Jayden Rajnicek, and Katie Schulz.

Waukesha County members selected to attend the State 4-H Conference this year in Madison include: (Back L-R) Lyta Muszytowski, Lily Jones, Amara Bugenhagen, Brooke Brady, Anna Papenfuss, Ericanna Mabbett, Abbie Mumm, Cameron Bandomir, Josh Peterson, (not pictured): Charlie DeCloux, Heidi Pennington, Christopher Szczech, and Sophie Winiecke.

Three youth were honored with the American Spirit Trip which will tour New York, Niagara Falls, Philadelphia and other early American History sites: Tyler Norem, Joelle Heller, & Mackenzie Norem.

The two selected to attend the National 4-H Leadership camp in Michigan in 2017 were Brody Jones & Lyta Nicoll.

Brianna Jones & Emily Czaplewski will be attending the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta this year.

Four Waukesha 4-H Members were selected to attend the 4-H Citizen Washington Focus trip in Washington DC this summer: Hannah Tremaine, Sean McGrath, Rebecca Knuth and (not pictured) Alannah Szczech.
Scholarships were presented to James Knuth, Serena Nicoll,
Jeremy Norem, Hannah Pennington, Chloe Peterson, Jade Piper, and Josie
Sindorf.

The 4-H Key awards were presented to High School Seniors Katie Bugenhagen, Jeremy Norem, Emily Czaplewski, Rebecca Knuth and (not pictured) Mason Roscizewski, Emily and Mason also received the Danforth Award, which is the top honor in Waukesha 4-H.
