Woodside Elementary Hosts Food Drive During Kindness Week

Donations included boxed food, canned food, paper towels, facial tissue, diapers, grocery gift cards and checks.

Woodside Elementary School held a successful food drive in February to benefit Sussex-Area Outreach Services. Woodside kindergarten through fourth grade students and their families donated more than 800 items. Donations included boxed food, canned food, paper towels, facial tissue, diapers, grocery gift cards and checks. The drive was a part of Woodside’s Kindness Week, in which students practiced being kind to others in school, at home and in the community.
