Vacant Walmart Razed for Neighborhood Market Development
New Walmart development will include future commercial businesses.
The vacant Walmart building in the Town of Waukesha on Highway 164 is coming down.
Demolition has started on the old building that housed Walmart before Walmart moved to West Avenue in the City of Waukesha. The building is being razed to make way for a Walmart Neighborhood Market.
Plans for the Walmart Neighborhood Market include additional commercial businesses in out lots that may be developed in the future, according to Town of Waukesha documents.
