2 Men Charged After Wounded Man Follows Shooter To Wauwatosa

The West Allis Police Department​ released the names of two men charged in a shooting incident on April 26.

WAUWATOSA, WI—The West Allis Police Department released the names of two men charged in a shooting incident on April 26.

Russell McDade Jr., 18, was charged with 1st Degree Reckless Injury (Use of a Dangerous Weapon) and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Fredrich Seay, 18, was charged with 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety (Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Habitual Criminality, Repeat Firearm Crimes), Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (Habitual Criminality, Repeat Firearm Crimes), and Bail Jumping.

The West Allis Police Department responded to a call on April 26 from a man who said he was struck by gunfire in the area of South 108th Street and West Greenfield Avenue, according to West Allis Police.

The suspect fled on south 108th Street. The victim, a 34-year-old from Milwaukee, attempted to follow the car before stopping in the 9900 block of West Bluemound Road.

Police located the car involved in the shooting in the 400 block of North Mayfair Road but no one was inside.

A suspect was taken into custody in the 500 block of North 106th Street. Investigation revealed a second person was picked up by another car and left the scene. A short time later, this car was located and a second suspect was taken into custody in the area of Glenview Ave. and Harwood Ave, police said.

The suspects are a 17-year-old teen from Milwaukee and an 18 year old man from Milwaukee.

The West Allis Police Department would like to thank the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office and the Wauwatosa Police Department for their assistance in this investigation, police said.
