WAUWATOSA, WI —Many government services change their hours or close during holidays. Here's what will be open and closed in Wauwatosa on the 4th of July.
Government Offices: City Hall will be closed Monday. It will reopen Tuesday.
Courts: The Wauwatosa Municipal Court office will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. People who need to pay fees can pay them online during the holiday.

Libraries: The Wauwatosa Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday.
Parks: City parks such as Hart Park and the 69th Street pedestrian plaza will be open Monday. Milwaukee County parks in the area will operate on a normal schedule as well.

Trash And Recycling: The city will still perform regular trash collection Monday, according to its latest schedule. The drop-off center and public works office will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday, the city said.
Buses: Milwaukee County Transit System buses will run on their Sunday schedule hours on Monday.
Post Offices: The Wauwatosa post office will be closed on Monday for the holiday.
Trains: Amtrak restored its Hiawatha Service round trips between Milwaukee and Chicago in May, the service said. Trains will run on their regular schedule through the holiday.
