$50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold In Wauwatosa Over Weekend

WAUWATOSA, WI – August ended on a high note for three Wisconsin Lottery players. Two split the $96,000 Badger 5 jackpot and the other won the $50,000 Powerball prize, both in drawings held on Saturday.

Powerball had a winner who matched 4 of 5 numbers plus the Powerball to win the $50,000 prize. Metro Market, 6950 W. State St. in Wauwatosa sold the winning ticket. Winning numbers drawn were 14, 41, 50, 56, 57, PB-18.

Badger 5 hit it lucky in two separate Wisconsin locations. The first ticket was purchased at The Store, 1011 Post Road, in Plover and the second at Trig's Food & Drug, 110 S. 17th Ave. in Wausau. Both players matched all five winning numbers (11, 16, 20, 21, 31) to split the $96,000 jackpot, each taking home $48,000.
