54-Year-Old Man Suspected Of Indecent Exposure At Milwaukee Zoo
A man was reportedly seen with his pants down near the playground at the Milwaukee County Zoo on Saturday.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI— A 54-year-old man is suspected of indecent exposure after police responded to an incident at the Milwaukee County Zoo, 10001 W. Bluemound Rd., on Saturday.
Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office confirms to Patch, "MCSO deputies responded to a call at the Milwaukee County Zoo, where it was reported that a man was observed near the Zoo playground with his pants down. Deputies located and arrested the subject. The case is still being investigated and the subject, a 54 year old male, faces potential misdemeanor charges."
According to a WISN 12 report, witnesses told WISN 12 they observed the man pull down his pants several times then they went to alert security.

One witness confronted the man who said he was trying to relieve himself, according to the report.
A spokesperson from the Zoo confirmed to Patch an incident occurred on the zoo groups. Zoo staff responded immediately upon notification of the incident, a news release said.

"Being a Family Free Day, all available staff was working on Zoo grounds. Even with additional Zoo security and Milwaukee County Sheriff Deputies on Zoo grounds, in total, measures 190-acres. Every attempt is made to cover and safeguard as many areas as possible with all available staff.
The individual was taken into Milwaukee County Sheriff’s custody. The Sheriff’s Department will handle any other inquiries involving the incident," the release said.
According to the WISN 12 report, the man was later released and has yet to be charged or cited. The sheriff's office said he is not a registered sex offender, the report said.
