BMX Wizard With Tosa Ties Goes Viral

Tim Knoll is a "flatlander," which means his tricks take place not in the air or off ramps, but on the ground.

Tim Knoll grew up in Tosa and Milwaukee after moving to the area at age 6, according to an interview with BMXUnion.com. He’s now a grownup who attended UW-Milwaukee and tutors some Milwaukee Public School students.

His true calling, however, is “flatland” bike riding, a form of riding done largely without ramps and calling for acrobatics without feet ever touching the ground.

On May 28, Knoll uploaded a video filmed in Milwaukee that has just eclipsed 5 million views on YouTube. Watch, and you’ll see why.
