Bob Dylan's Unrecorded Ode To Wisconsin Gets Remake From Milwaukee's Trapper Schoepp

Dylan's written lyrics about Wisconsin were auctioned off March 30th with an opening bid of $30,000 but no bids were made.

After it was announced that the handwritten lyrics to Bob Dylan's unrecorded ode to Wisconsin was being auctioned off March 31, Milwaukee rocker Trapper Schoepp recorded his own rendition... and Dylan would be impressed.

Schoepp drew from Dylan's original lyrics and added a touch of the Wisconsin fight song in the chorus for a track he titled "On Wisconsin."

As a cheeky ode to Dylan's lyrics, which refer to Wauwatosa at "Wow Wow Toaster," 88.9 Radio Milwaukee says Schoepp recorded the song in Wauwatosa at Wire & Vice studio, and the session was catered by Wow Wow Toaster's own Metcalfe's Market.
