Cajun Seafood Boil Restaurant Coming To Wauwatosa
Crafty Crab is set to open in the Mayfair Collection space in May.
WAUWATOSA, WI—A Cajun Seafood restaurant is coming to the Mayfair Collection in May.
Crafty Crab will occupy the space where AJ Bombers and Smoke Shack Express occupied, 11340 W Burleigh St, before those restaurants closed in 2020, according HSA Commercial Real Estate and the restaurant's website.
AJ Bombers and Smoke Shack Express closed due to the economic effects of the pandemic.

"This was far from an easy decision. The Mayfair Collection has been an incredible partner for us since we opened our spaces there in 2016 with Smoke Shack, AJ Bombers, and Holey Moley Coffee & Doughnuts. We are grateful we were able to serve the Wauwatosa community in addition to downtown Milwaukee," said Chris Adams, the Vice President of Operations for Hospitality Democracy, which owns the two restaurants said back in August.
The Crafty Crab specializes in crab, crawfish, calamari, and lobster in the kitchen, made fresh daily. Also offered is Cajun rice, chicken tenders, and other menu options, the website said.
