A Cookie and Craft Sale will be hosted by Lutheran Home Auxiliary and the Ladies Guild of Zion Lutheran Church-Menomonee Falls from noon to 3pm, Tuesday, November 12, in the Community Room at Harwood Place Retirement Community, 8220 Harwood Ave., Wauwatosa, (where Harwood Ave. meets Watertown Plank Rd.).
Auxiliary members will provide a variety of home-baked cookies and other treats, focusing on small plates of “cookie jar” cookies and bars, such as chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal, etc. Auxiliary proceeds will be used to purchase a poinsettia plant for each resident at Lutheran Home, 75th and North Ave., Wauwatosa.
The Zion organization will offer an array of craft items ideal for Christmas gifts, home decorating, apparel accessories, children’s items, and much more. Proceeds will benefit a variety of mission projects at the Menomonee Falls church.
