Heavy Rain, Hail Forecast For Thursday Night

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Southeastern Wisconsin as another round of heavy rainfall is likely starting this evening and continuing through tonight.

"There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across most of the forecast area. Hail and wind will be the main threats again," the NWS is forecasting.

Heavy rain and localized flooding are also concerns Thursday night, with another 1 to 2 inches of rain expected. A Flood Watch has been issued for counties along and northwest of a line from Iowa, Dane,
Dodge, and Fond du Lac counties. Flooding of rivers, creeks, and low lying areas are possible.

Thursday afternoon into the evening, the primary threats will be large hail, damaging winds, heavy rainfall causing localized flooding and possibly a tornado.
