Hundreds Gather For MAGA Freedom Rally In Wauwatosa; 1 Arrested

The Saturday event took place near Mayfair Mall, where eight people were injured in a mass shooting a day earlier.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Hundreds of President Donald Trump supporters lined the streets of Wauwatosa on Saturday morning for a “MAGA Freedom Rally," many of whom were protesting the Nov. 3 election in response to the president's ongoing, baseless allegations of fraud.

The rally, which started at 11 a.m., drew about 600 people to the intersection of North Mayfair Road and West North Avenue, according to Wauwatosa police. According to reports, members of the far-right group Proud Boys were in attendance, providing "security" at the rally, some of whom were confronted by counter-protesters.

One arrest was made for disorderly conduct. Police said the crowd mostly stayed on the sidewalk and allowed traffic to move through the area.
