International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers Hosting Job Fair Thursday For Electricians And Data Installers

The IBEW believes in jobs with fair wages and good benefits and is inviting workers of all skill levels to the job fair.

WAUWATOSA - The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 494 is inviting workers of all skill levels to meet with electrical contractors at a job fair from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at the Milwaukee Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Center, 11001 W. Plank Court.

The event is being dubbed Electrical Construction Industry Night and is seeking electricians and data installers at all skill levels to work for large and small electrical contractors. Employers are seeking workers who are looking to expand their knowledge in the trade or participate in an apprenticeship.

The IBEW is a union that believes in better wages and working conditions for workers, and offers health insurance, a retirement package, continuing education, and training.
