It's Your Last Chance to Pay Your 2012 Property Taxes to City
If you still owe a partial payment, now is the time to get it to the city treasurer. Beginning Thursday, partial payments will be sent back to you and it'll be up to you to get them to Milwaukee County.
Wednesday is the last day the City of Wauwatosa Treasurer's Office collects 2012 real estate property taxes. Beginning Thursday, the Milwaukee County Treasurer assumes collection.
Tax payments can be made in person at the Treasurer's Office, dropped in the 24-hour night depository, or online using the city website by midnight Wednesday. A mailed payment must be postmarked by Wednesday.
After the cutoff date, partial payments will be returned back to the taxpayers. Full tax payments will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County Treasurer.
