According to her entry on Packers.com, when she was married in 1957, "they agreed that all family plans should be made around the Sunday Packers games (such as what time to eat on Thanksgiving, their granddaughter's wedding or vacation dates), so nothing would interfere with watching the game. [They] games together, including the famous Ice Bowl, and she didn't complain during the game, despite her being dressed up."
