Milwaukee County Firefighters Conducting High-Rise Fire Training This Month Near Mayfair

WAUWATOSA - Fire departments in Milwaukee County along with the 128th Air National Guard will begin month-long training sessions Monday in an 11th-story building to coordinate efforts in how the crews respond to fires in high-rise buildings.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, all departments will be present at the training, which is held Monday through Thursday through April.

The training session is the culmination of almost two years of policy development, equipment standardization, and planning meetings between the departments.
