Public Works is made up of skilled professionals who provide and maintain vital infrastructure and services to the community. The streets we drive, the water we drink, the parks we visit, the vehicles police officers drive, and even the city trees we walk past are all Public Works infrastructure that we maintain.

The City of Wauwatosa, along with the American Public Works Association, celebrates National Public Works Week each year during the third week of May. The national theme this year is, “Stronger Together.” In spite of all of the challenges our community has faced in the past year, our Public Works team has continued to build and maintain the infrastructure that improves our safety and quality of life every day. We invite you to follow our social media and share your stories about how Public Works has served you in Wauwatosa, as well as to learn more each day about our city services.
