No Injuries Reported In Wauwatosa Apartment Complex Fire

Fire and water damage affected three apartments in a 20-unit building.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Fire and water damaged three apartments after the Wauwatosa Fire Department extinguished a balcony fire at a three story apartment building early Wednesday morning.

No injuries were reported in the fire in the 1200 block of 68th Stret a little after 2 a.m. Fire crews found two balconies on fire when they arrived at a three story, 20-unit apartment building.

The Wauwatosa Fire Department, with the help of the Milwaukee Fire Department, extinguished the fire in less than 15 minutes, the department said.

The fire appears to have started on a balcony, officials said. The fire investigation has been closed by the Wauwatosa Fire Marshall.
