Police Searching For Missing Wauwatosa East Student

WAUWATOSA, WI—Wauwatosa Police are asking for help in locating a missing 17-year-old.
Ava Wyderka, a Wauwatosa East High School student was last seen on Thursday, according to police. Ava is described as being 5'03" and 120 pounds and has red hair and green eyes.
She is believed to still be in the local area, around West Fond du Lac Avenue and West Ridge Court in Milwaukee, police said.

"Over the coming days, support staff will be connecting with students who may be most impacted by this situation. Counselors will also be available for one-on-one meetings as well. Please reach out to one of our school counselors or social worker if you or your student would benefit from additional support," the message said.
