Topics this week during city meetings include:

• Board of Public Works (June 14, 8:30 am) will discuss:
  • A request for a fence encroachment at 3159 N. Knoll Terrace
  • A request by The Lowlands Group to park a refrigerated truck overnight in the Harmonee Bridge parking lot for the nights of June 25 - June 28
  • A street vendor application by Tree-Ripe Fruit at 11200 W. Watertown Plank Road at 8930 W. North Avenue
• Police and Fire Commission (June 14, 5:00 pm) will host virtual public interviews for final candidates of Wauwatosa Police Chief. Learn how to view the meeting.
• Committee of the Whole (June 15, 6:00 pm) will hear a presentation regarding public records, open meetings, meeting procedures, and ethics.
• Common Council (June 15, 7:30 pm) will discuss:
  • A public hearing regarding a zoning map amendment at 423 North 98th St
  • A presentation of the Wisconsin Bird City Award
  • A conditional use at 6933 West North Avenue for an eating and drinking establishment (The Fermentorium)
  • A conditional use at 10000 West Blue Mound Road for a hospital and medical office building
  • Setting a public hearing date of July 20, 2021 to consider zoning text amendment to add artist work or sales space to the C0 District
  • Setting a public hearing date of July 20, 2021 to consider proposed amendments to Chapter 24 Zoning code
  • A planned unit development at 11413 W. Burleigh Street for signage
  • Allocating $150,000 of funds received through the American Rescue Plan Act for the purpose of creating an incentive program to increase the rate of COVID-19 vaccination in Wauwatosa
  • Approving the issuance of a Special Event Permit to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church for July 16 -18, 2021.
  • A resolution regarding proposed changes to the election-related legislation
  • Reducing the size of the Common Council to 12 alderpersons
  • Approving an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the construction of roadway improvements necessary to accommodate the Mayfair Collection, Burleigh South and Fulfilment Center development sites
• Police and Fire Commission (June 16, 4:30 pm) will hear regular reports from the police and fire departments and discuss the police chief candidates.

Meeting Format

Meetings may be all virtual both in person and via Zoom. Please look at the individual agendas to see the meeting format for that specific meeting. For hybrid meetings, in-person attendance shall be open only to elected officials, city staff, and no more than four applicants that are named on meeting agendas.
