Secondhand Store Eyes Wauwatosa Location

WAUWATOSA, WI— The Wauwatosa Plan Commission will hold a public hearing for a second hand store for 3132 North Mayfair Rd. on Nov. 9. The PokeShop Buy Sell Trade is a retail store that will offer a variety of collectible and tradeable card games and services. The request is from Nou Xiong, Woody & Sons, LLC., for a Conditional Use Permit, according to the proposal.

"We pride ourselves in being enthusiasts in the hobby and I hope we can pass this knowledge down to younger generations," the packet said.

Xiong remembered when she was younger and would walk down to the local card shop and felt amazed by the collection of cards and memorabilia.

"Today, I want to create something that will bring that nostalgia and feeling of a kid in a candy store back to the community. Project Objectives One of our main goals is that we want to provide a hub so kids and enthusiasts in the hobby can come and enjoy the games in a clean and safe environment," the proposal said.
