WAUWATOSA, WI — Wauwatosa city officials are alerting the public that the forestry department will be pruning and removing trees along Ludington Ave. starting March 18 through March 22.
Crews will be working between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. In order to maintain a safe work zone, sections of Ludington will close while work is being performed. Milwaukee County Transit will be diverting their buses during work hours, officials said.
The forestry department will be removing diseased trees or trees in the way of construction. City officials said the forestry department typically replaces the tree typically during the spring one year after the old one is removed.
