WAUWATOSA, WI — Ongoing work on a Wauwatosa water main may have some residents wondering where a bit of their water pressure went, however city officials say it's a result of some repair work that's near completion.

On Aug. 19 around 2:30 p.m., repair crews responded to a water main break near the intersection of Menomonee River Parkway and Mayfair Road. City officials expected the repair of the water main break to last between 24-48 hours.

The contractor that has been working on the repair closed one of the northbound lanes on Mayfair Road between Keefe Ave. and Menomonee River Parkway for the duration of the repair.
