Wauwatosa East Track And Field Teams Will Play State Championship
Student athletes from boys and girls track and field have qualified for the coming state championship game.
WAUWATOSA, WI — The boys and girls varsity track and field teams for Wauwatosa East High School have qualified for the state championship this weekend after passing the sectional competition Thursday.
The girls' team scored third place in the Division 1 sectional with 82 points. First place went to Brookfield Central High School with 124.5 points and second went to Wisconsin Lutheran High School with 86 points.
The boys' team landed second place with 82 points. Brookfield East High School scored first with 92 points.

From there, the teams will compete in the 2021 State Track and Field Championships hosted by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association. The event will be held at Veterans Memorial Stadium at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Saturday.
The one day meet starts at 11 a.m. with the girls four by 800-meters relay, reported Tosa East Athletics.

The sectional competition was held at Nathan Hale High School in West Allis.
