Wauwatosa Health Department Held Pop-Up Vaccine Clinics At Mall
As demand for the vaccine decreases at the Wauwatosa City Hall clinics, staff are focusing on more community-based clinics.
WAUWATOSA, WI—The Wauwatosa Health Department held free pop-up vaccine clinics at Mayfair mall on Friday and Saturday.
Interim Health Officer Laura Stephens told Patch at this point, they do not have any additional clinics planned at Mayfair. These were free and open to anyone.
"As demand for the vaccine decreases at our City Hall clinics, we are focusing on more community-based clinics. Our priority is to achieve high rates of vaccination and we want to make sure we are providing the vaccine to our community in a way that is equitable and accessible. We’re hoping that by providing clinics at community sites, we’ll make the vaccine more accessible to individuals who may not be comfortable or able to seek it out elsewhere," Stephens said.
