Wauwatosa Meeting To Detail I-41, Highway 45 Construction Plans
What's happening with the areas around I-41 and Highway 45? A meeting is coming up to divulge the specifics.

WAUWATOSA, WI — There's an old saying in Wisconsin that there are only two seasons: winter, and construction season. Those two seasons meet up later this month as transportation officials plan to hold a meeting in Wauwatosa about the future plans for the I-41/Highway 45 corridor and its reconstruction.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is hosting a public involvement meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. about the remaining work on the Zoo Interchange project.
Transportation officials say this work includes the north leg of the I-41/Highway 45 corridor from Swan Blvd. to Burleigh St., specifically adding lanes to the freeway in each direction between Swan Blvd. and Burleigh St., as well as rebuilding the interchanges with North Ave. and Burleigh St.

The meeting will be held at the St. Joseph's Parish Center Building, second floor meeting room, 12130 W. Center St. It is an open-house style event, so you can stop in when it is convenient.
