Wauwatosa Walgreens Now Offers Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccinations

WAUWATOSA, WI — Walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations are now available at Walgreens stores in several Wisconsin cities, including Wauwatosa. People can get a free vaccination without an appointment, the retailer announced Friday.

Stores in Brookfield, New Berlin, Waukesha and Glendale offer free vaccinations without an appointment as well.

For children between 12 and 15 who have been authorized to receive a vaccine, call ahead to make sure the vaccine they need is available.

Vaccination appointments for such children can be made at CVS locations as well.

People can schedule COVID-19 vaccination online, through their local health department websites, by calling 800-Walgreens or by calling their local Walgreens. Same-day appointments can be made online or over the phone.
