Wounded Man Follows Shooter To Wauwatosa: Police
The West Allis Police Department responded to a call from a man who said he was struck by gunfire on Monday.

WAUWATOSA, WI— The West Allis Police Department responded to a call on Monday from a man who said he was struck by gunfire in the area of South 108th Street and West Greenfield Avenue, according to West Allis Police.
The suspect fled on south 108th Street. The victim, a 34-year-old from Milwaukee, attempted to follow the car before stopping in the 9900 block of West Bluemound Road. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries, according to police.
Police located the car involved in the shooting in the 400 block of North Mayfair Road but no one was inside.

A suspect was taken into custody in the 500 block of North 106th Street. Investigation revealed a second person was picked up by another car and left the scene. A short time later, this car was located and a second suspect was taken into custody in the area of Glenview Ave. and Harwood Ave, police said.
The suspects are a 17-year-old teen from Milwaukee and an 18 year old man from Milwaukee.

The West Allis Police Department would like to thank the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s office and the Wauwatosa Police Department for their assistance in this investigation. At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident and there does not appear to be any ongoing danger to the general public, police said.
