70-Year-Old Arrested After Drunk Driving In Whitefish Bay: Cops
Whitefish Bay police said the driver was responsible for three complaints, including two crashes.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A 70-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested and faces charges after police say he drove drunk, and was involved in two hit-and-run crashes.
Whitefish Bay police say an officer on patrol just after 6 p.m. on Sep. 1 saw a red Honda Fit heading north in the 5100 block of N. Lake Drive.
Police learned that the vehicle had been involved in two hit-and-run crashes at N. Lake Drive and E. Capitol Drive.

Police said they fielded a third driving complaint at the intersection of Lake and Kensington involving the same vehicle.
According to Whitefish Bay police, the driver of the Honda rear-ended a westbound Volvo stopped at the stop sign on E. Henry Clay Street at N. Lake Drive. The Honda then crashed into the guard rail on the south side of E. Henry Clay at N. Lake Drive, police said.

Police said the driver was evaluated by the North Shore Fire Department and was transported to Froedert Hospital with minor injuries.
According to police, the man admitted to drinking after the Whitefish Bay police officer noted clues that he may have been drinking.
