
Whitefish Bay residents Matt Sostock and Dave Clark swam for the Wisconsin Masters team competing at the US Masters national swimming championships last weekend in Greensboro, NC.
Sostock had five top 10 finishes, including four individual in the 25-29 age group: eighth in the 200-meter individual medley, sixth in the 100-meter backstroke, fifth in the 200-meter backstroke and national runner-up in the 200-meter fly. Matt was also a member of the mixed (two men, two women) medley relay that finished 10th in the 25-and-older age group.
Clark had three top 10 finishes on the weekend, including an eighth place finish in the 50-54 age group's 1650 meter freestyle. He was also a member of the 200-meter freestyle relay that finished ninth in the men’s 45-and-up age group, and he swam on the men's medley relay that finished 10th in the 45-and-up age group.

Clark is also the coach of the Masters 5am swim group, a group of adult swimmers and tri-athletes that train at at 5 a.m.
