Bay Gives Back will be hosting its 6th Annual City Wide Food Drive (Virtual Edition) to benefit the Riverwest Food Pantry.

Bay Gives Back has a goal of collecting 10,000 pounds of food this year. Organizers say the need is greater this year because of the impacts from COVID-19.

The collection events runs from October 10 through the 24.

Every fall, Whitefish Bay High School puts on a food drive for the Riverwest Food Pantry. Normally it takes hundreds of students, staff members, and parents to help distribute red plastic bags to every house in Whitefish Bay and then many more volunteers to collect and sort all of the donated food. This year, however, the food drive will look a little different.
