Car Stolen In Whitefish Bay Recovered In Milwaukee: Police
Whitefish Bay police say a stolen Volkswagen Jetta with a Coach purse inside that was stolen on June 14 was found a week later in Milwaukee.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say a vehicle reported stolen in the village has been found.
According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, Milwaukee police contacted authorities in Whitefish Bay to say that a stolen silver 2019 Volkswagen Jetta from June 14 was found in the alley at 4612 N. 30th Street.
Police said the vehicle was stolen during the afternoon of June 14. In that incident, officers responded to the 5000 block of N. Bay Ridge Ave. after the Jetta's owner said their vehicle was stolen from the 100 block of E. Fairmount. It was unlocked at the time, police said.

According to a police call log, the Jetta contained a child's car seat, face coverings, a black Coach purse with credit cards, a check book and keys inside the purse.
The vehicle was reported found just after 2:30 a.m. on June 23.

Police said the car's tires were flat, an antenna had been removed and the license plates were removed.
Police said the owner was notified that their car had been recovered, and towed back to the police station.
