Car Stolen In Whitefish Bay Turns Up With Bullet Hole: Cops

At the time, police said the 2014 Mercedes 300c was taken with keys after suspects broke into the locked vehicle.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A black Mercedes that was reported stolen on June 20 in Whitefish Bay was found in Milwaukee after a chase and an apparent shooting, police said.

According to Whitefish Bay police, Milwaukee police contacted authorities in Whitefish Bay just after 2 a.m. on June 29, saying they found the vehicle after a pursuit and crash at the intersection of S. Lennox St. and E. Russell Ave. in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee police said the vehicle's right front tire was missing, there was fresh damage to the hood and front bumper, and there was an apparent bullet hole in the windshield.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, the vehicle went missing from the 5900 block of N. Shore Drive just after 4 a.m. on June 20.

Reports stated that a neighborhood resident called police that night to report "two or three" suspicious people parked at the end of the cul-de-sac.
