Coyotes Killed a Second Dog in Whitefish Bay

WHITEFISH BAY -- If you've got a small pet or dog, wild life experts advise keeping your lovable pets in sight at all times while they're outside.
That's because coyotes have claimed the lives of two dogs over the last two weeks in the Whitefish Bay area.
According to a CBS 58 report, an 8-year-old cockapoo was on a leash in the back yard of a Glendale home when it was taken and killed. Another dog in Whitefish Bay was killed over the weekend. Whitefish Bay police it's the first time they've heard of a pet killed by coyote.

According to police, young coyotes venture out on their own to find new territory during the fall, sometimes resulting in finding their way into your neighborhood
