Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!
The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin needs your help at it's iCan Bike Summer Bike Camp June 26-30.
The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin is hosting an iCan Bike program for people with disabilities ages eight to eighty eight. This camp runs for one week in the summer at Nicolet High School in Glendale. Approximately 80% of the people who participate in our program ride a two-wheel bicycle independently at the end of our five day program!
Volunteers are needed as spotters and provide physical, emotional, and motivational support to their assigned riders. You will be assigned to the same rider each day and celebrate their progress during this week of camp. Most importantly, you must be willing to get some exercise for a great cause!
Shifts are available for 90 minutes each day and you must attend at least 3 or more days during the same shift Monday through Friday for the week of June 26-30, 2017. Our greatest need for volunteers are afternoons, 1:45-3:15 pm and 3:20-4:50 pm. We still need 14 to 28 volunteers!
