GLENDALE, WISCONSIN—The City of Glendale is hosting a jam-packed summer of community events. From Beer Festivals to free summer concerts, residents in Milwaukee's north shore will enjoy the abundance of food, music, fests, parades, and entertainment hosted by Glendale.

Sprecher’s Traveling Beer Garden

  • May 15-27
  • Kletzsch Park, 6560 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, Glendale

FREE Admission. Celebrate the start of summer with Sprecher's Traveling Beer Garden. Enjoy live music and food trucks. Kids love the playground. Last call 9 p.m.

Music in the Glen Summer Concert Series

  • 8 Weeks throughout the summer
  • All concerts start at 7 p.m.
  • Richard E. Maslowski Community Park, 2200 W. Bender Road, Glendale

Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series featuring a different music genre each week. Bring your lawn chairs. Food and beverages for sale. (Note the June 26th concert is at Homestead High School) www.musicintheglen.org

Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival

  • June 15, Noon to 5pm
  • Bayshore Town Center 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, Glendale

Join fellow beer enthusiasts from around the country as you sample Wisconsin's best brews showcased and served by the Wisconsin Brewers Guild. Over 21 only. Tickets on tap at Wisconsinbeerloversfest.com.


World of Beer Festival

  • June 22 , 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Heidelberg Park: Bavarian Bierhaus 700 W. Lexington Boulevard, Glendale

This Beer festival features over 400 beers, ciders and meads. Presented by the Beer Barons of Milwaukee, a club of homebrewers and beer enthusiasts who have a mission to promote the education and enjoyment of fermented beverages. Glendale’s Fourth of July Celebration

  • July 4, 2019 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • 10am: Children’s Parade – Start at Parkway Elementary
  • 10:30am: Main Parade Extravaganza on Milwaukee River Parkway
  • 11:30am: All-Day Festival
  • Dusk: First Bank Financial Centre Grand Fireworks Display
  • Kletzsch Park 6560 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, Glendale

One of the biggest Fourth of July Celebrations in Metro-Milwaukee. This FREE all-day event starts with a morning children’s parade at 10am. A Main Parade Extravaganza follows, featuring floats, celebrities, bands, clowns, animals,classic cars, and more.

The full-day festival begins at 11:30am with food trucks, beer, games, live music, entertainment,bingo, bounce houses, rock wall, Jedi Training, etc. The 5 Card Studs Band performs from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. The First Bank Financial Centre Grand Fireworks Display starts at Dusk.


National Night Out

  • August 6, 5 p.m .to 8 p.m.
  • Parkway Elementary School, 5910 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, Glendale

All of the North Shore’s finest, from seven area communities, come together to present National Night Out featuring demonstrations, booths, food trucks, meet-and-greets, and entertainment. First-Responders and professionals will be on-hand including FBI agents, sheriffs, police, fire department personnel, search-and-rescue, and highway patrol to showcase equipment, tools, and vehicles.


Root Beer Bash

  • August 24 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m .
  • Richard E. Maslowski Community Park 2200 W. Bender Road, Glendale

FREE Admission. Discover “What's at the Center of the Root Beer Universe"! Glendale is one of the largest producers of Root Beer in America! This family-friendly festival starts with a 5k Run-Walk fundraiser for the Glendale Police Department. Enjoy a “root beer themed” celebration with live music, food vendors, Sprecher Root Beer products, the Root Beer Olympics, celebrities, crafts, bounce houses, and more! The Love Monkeys perform from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
