Guitar-Playing Whitefish Bay Man Cited For Noise Violation: Cops

Police say they talked with the homeowner, a 69-year-old Whitefish Bay man, and thought they resolved the issue.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Authorities say a Whitefish Bay man has been cited for violating village noise ordinances after he and others he knew were rocking out in front of his Bell Ave. house.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, officers were sent to a home on the 400 block of E. Belle Ave. just after 8 p.m. on May 24 on a report that multiple people were playing guitars on amplifiers and singing loudly in the front yard.

Police say they talked with the homeowner, a 69-year-old Whitefish Bay man, and thought they resolved the issue. Police said they had to tell the man several times to quiet down before he agreed to turn off the music for the evening.
