JCC Hosting Vaccine Clinic For 12-15 Year Olds

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — The Harry & Rose Samson JCC Family Center in Whitefish Bay will host a vaccine clinic on May 20 for all eligible individuals, according to their website.

The clinic is primarily to get those 12 and up, newly eligible for vaccination, their first shot of the Pfizer vaccine. The second shot will be administered at another clinic on June 10.

The clinic is a partnership between the JCC, Milwaukee Jewish Federation and BBYO. The clinic is taking place through a partnership with Summit Clerical Laboratories.

Registration for those 12 and up is available online.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at appointments.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services strongly encourages all eligible individuals to get vaccinated.

The FDA authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine for anyone 12 or older last week. Twelve thousand people aged 12-15 in Wisconsin have already received their first dose of the vaccine
