Jewish Community Center's Movie Night Drew Noise Complaint: Cops

The Jewish Community Center's drive-in screening of Ferris Bueller's Day Off was too loud for one resident, police said.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — An outdoor movie night at the Jewish Community Center drew the ire of one local resident and the center's screening of Ferris Bueller's Day Off resulted in a noise complaint.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer was sent to the center at 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd. just before 10 p.m. on August 3.

Police call logs show that the officer spoke with people in the center's parking lot. According to police, the officer talked with organizers who were in the parking lot.

According to police, organizers said they just finished an outdoor drive-in movie night showing of Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Police noted they did not hear any music as they drove around the lots, and no citations were issued.
