New Health Center Planned for Menomonee Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI – Ascension Wisconsin plans to open a new health center in the Village of Menomonee Falls. The health center will provide access to primary, specialty, hospital and emergency services.

The first floor of the two-story, 33,000-square-foot health center will house a 16,500-square-foot small-scale hospital with emergency services and eight inpatient beds.

The hospital will be owned and operated by Ascension Wisconsin Emerus JV, LLC which is a joint venture between Ascension Wisconsin and Emerus Holdings.

The new hospital will operate 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year. It will be staffed by emergency medicine physicians, experienced nurses and clinical specialists.

The facility will be fully licensed, CMS-accredited and in-network with most commercial providers, officials said. Medicaid and Medicare also will be accepted.

The second floor of the new health center will be occupied exclusively by Ascension Wisconsin who will establish a 16,500-square-foot primary and specialty care clinic, staffed by Ascension Wisconsin providers.

The health center project will create 50 to 70 new jobs. Construction is expected to begin in the spring, with a tentative opening date of April 2021, according to Scott Yauck, president and CEO of Cobalt Partners LLC, a Milwaukee-based real estate development firm, and contracted developer for the neighborhood health center.
