New Whitefish Bay Overnight Parking System Starts This Weekend

Authorities in Whitefish Bay will no longer accept overnight parking permission by telephone.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — The Whitefish Bay Police Department will begin using a new overnight parking system beginning March 31 at 5:00 a.m. which means residents won't have to call in parking permits by phone. The link for the website to request overnight parking permission can be located at www.wfbvillage.org in the Parking Permits section.

Authorities in Whitefish Bay will no longer accept overnight parking permission by telephone. A maximum 15 night’s permission per vehicle are allowed annually at no cost. If you require more than 15 nights, monthly parking permits can be purchased.

The new system allows monthly parking permits to be purchased online rather than coming to the Police Department during normal business hours. Permit sales for the next month will be allowed starting at 5 AM on the last day of the current month. Requests for overnight parking permission must be made prior to 3 a.m. of the current day. No parking permission will be granted during a declared Snow Emergency.

Whitefish Bay police say that all vehicles parked on the street must be moved at least once every 24 hours, regardless of any permission granted or parking permit held.
