Police Tell Whitefish Bay Man To Take Political Signs Down

Whitefish Bay police say they were sent to Big Bay Park recently over a man who placed political yard signs in the grass.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Big Bay Park is no place for political yard signs, Whitefish Bay police said, after a resident called authorities after seeing a man places such signs in the park.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, officers were called to Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road after a resident told police that someone was placing political signs in the park.

Police call logs stated that officers were sent to the park just after 1 p.m. on June 28 over the matter.

According to police, officers found the man who placed the signs in the park. Police said he agreed to remove the signs, and said he placed the signs in the park just so that he could take pictures of them.
