Resident Upset Over Tree Trimmers On Lake Drive, Police Say
Police said the man approached the workers, saying he was upset with the way they were trimming, and wanted them to stop.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A Whitefish Bay man who was upset with how city tree trimmers were trimming trees in his neighborhood was told by police how to handle such an incident in the future, police say.
According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, officers were sent to the 400 block of E. Lake View Ave. on a report of a homeowner who had a conflict with tree trimmers who were working with the Department of Public Works.
Police said the man approached the workers, saying he was upset with the way they were trimming, and wanted them to stop. Police said the man felt the workers were disrespectful to him when he approached them on the street.

When police spoke with the man, they told him to contact the Department of Public Works supervisor or village manager in the future, and to also refrain from talking with workers while they're on the job.
