Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Southeast Wisconsin
Weather observers say a round of severe thunderstorms are moving in this evening.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A round of seasonably warm weather this afternoon is going to give way to severe thunderstorms this evening, weather observers say.
The National Weather Service has issued a Sever Thunderstorm Watch for the following counties until 9 p.m. Tuesday:
Jefferson
Kenosha
Milwaukee
Ozaukee
Racine
Rock
Sheboygan
Walworth
Washington
Waukesha

A few strong to severe storms are possible, mainly southeast of a Darlington to Sheboygan line. Large hail and gusty winds would be the main hazards with any stronger thunderstorms that do develop. The best window for storms would be between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. the National Weather Service said.

Gusty northwest winds are expected later Wednesday afternoon, behind a cold front that will push through the region Wednesday. Gusty winds are expected to linger into Thursday night with gusts
around 40 miles per hour possible Thursday afternoon, officials said.
