WHITEFISH BAY, WI—Your annual dog and cat licenses expire every December 31.

Unlicensed animals cost more to reclaim and it is harder to reunite animals without tags, such as a license, according to leaders in Whitefish Bay. Licensing your pet is required

Get your license at Village Hall or at Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission, located at3839 W. Burnham Street, W. Milwaukee.

1.) Keeps you compliant with state and local laws and ensures all residents and pets are protected from rabies.
2.) If your pet is wearing a license when it is found as a stray, MADACC gives them one free ride home each calendar year on the day of capture.

3.) Current licenses help neighbors who may find your pet reach you.

4.) Licenses are $12 for all spayed and neutered pets and $24 otherwise.
