Whitefish Bay Considers New Course For Students

WHITEFISH BAY, WI—This week the Whitefish Bay School Board will consider the option to approve a new high school course for the 2021/22 school year.

School district staff recommended the board approve the proposed course that is titled "Black History".

New courses are brought to the School Board each fall. If approved by the Board, staffing and the writing of curricula are acted upon, pending sufficient enrollment for each course.

This course proposal was reviewed and endorsed by the district’s Teaching and Learning Council (TLC) on October 14, 2020 and the Instruction Committee of the Board on October 28, 2020.
