Whitefish Bay Residents Could Soon Be Required To Wear Masks

"We are working with the village attorney on a draft for board consideration," Whitefish Bay Village President Julie Siegel​ said.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI—While there is currently no mask mandate in Whitefish Bay, that could soon change. The village board discussed face masks last Monday evening and has now directed staff to move forward with drafting an ordinance to require them.

"We are working with the village attorney on a draft for board consideration," Whitefish Bay Village President Julie Siegel said in the village's latest newsletter.

Currently in Whitefish Bay, masks are strongly recommended to be worn in public places by the North Shore Health Department.
