Whitefish Bay School Board Considers Bump To Staff Income

The board will consider the recommendations from the Compensation Review Committee Wednesday.

WHITEFISH BAY,WI— The Whitefish Bay School Board will consider bumps in pay for a variety of employees around the school district.

The board will consider the recommendations from the Compensation Review Committee Wednesday.

The majority of support staff have competitive salaries, but the committee recommends some adjustment to the following: Director of HR, Director of Buildings and Grounds, Informational Technology Coordinator, School Psychologists, and Occupational Therapist, according to school board records.

The committee recommends bumps in pay for custodial/maintenance, paras and administrative assistants to remain competitive with surrounding communities. An adjustment is needed specifically for the Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant, who is significantly below market.

Wages should be adjusted to remain competitive for administrative staff as well, according to recommendations being presented Wednesday.

Increases will also be considered for teachers and for educators who pick-up extra work for virtual teaching.

The cost of these proposals are within the current budget parameters and will not require a budget adjustment of any kind, according to staff.
